The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson thuds a left hand into Gives's body.
Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Gives shoots in.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Gives looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Gives avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gives is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.
Gives makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Gives trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gives gets to his feet and stands over Johnson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Johnson felt that one! Gives unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Johnson from any more punishment!
