Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robin Buesching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattrik Kalemykos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalemykos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Gold by John Brown's Body. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Buesching! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mattrik Kalemykos! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalemykos tries a head kick but it misses.
Kalemykos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Good standup being displayed there by Kalemykos as he connects with a hook. Kalemykos takes the fight into the clinch. Kalemykos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kalemykos steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Buesching. That one must have hurt. A jab from Kalemykos finds it's way through Buesching's defenses. Buesching looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kalemykos is fending him off so far but Buesching persists. Nope, Kalemykos circles away and we're back to standing. Kalemykos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buesching manages to avoid it. Kalemykos takes a swing at Buesching's ribcage but misses. Kalemykos throws a sloppy head kick and Buesching moves out of range easily. Buesching closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kalemykos to the mat! Kalemykos manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buesching drops back looking for a leg! Kalemykos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kalemykos manages to kick Buesching off! Buesching jumps back into Kalemykos's guard. Kalemykos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Buesching is controlling him. Buesching might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalemykos throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Kalemykos is looking to stand up but Buesching isn't so interested in that idea. Kalemykos looking for a sweep. Not yet Kalemykos, not yet. Buesching drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buesching jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Buesching trying to control the position from guard on top but Kalemykos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Buesching stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kalemykos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Buesching moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalemykos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Buesching. Kalemykos wants to clinch up but Buesching keeps it at a distance. Buesching closes the distance and clinches. Buesching is trying to maintain a safe position but Kalemykos gets an underhook and turns Buesching into the ropes. Buesching gets a trip takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Buesching stops Kalemykos from getting back to his feet.
Kalemykos looking for submissions off his back. Kalemykos looks gassed! Kalemykos trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buesching has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kalemykos defend it? Buesching steps over the head and cranks it - Kalemykos is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Buesching!
