Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Slystarr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Lucky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slystarr comes to the cage accompanied by Kool Savas - Tot oder Lebendig/Mona Lisa. Happy Lucky is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Slystarr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lucky avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Slystarr.

Slystarr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lucky is trying to control but can't.

Slystarr is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lucky has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slystarr is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lucky has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slystarr has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lucky has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Slystarr looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Slystarr lands a big shot there that rocks Lucky but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Slystarr goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lucky turns into him and now he's in Slystarr's guard.

Slystarr has hold of Lucky's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lucky manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Slystarr throws a strike aimed at the side of Lucky's head but Lucky avoids it well.

Slystarr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lucky is just riding it out for now. Slystarr eventually gives up the hold.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Slystarr feints and as Lucky raises his hands in defense, Slystarr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Slystarr drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lucky manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slystarr has Lucky in his guard.
Lucky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slystarr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lucky wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Slystarr.
Slystarr goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lucky is on top in guard.
Lucky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Slystarr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lucky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lucky wants to stand but Slystarr has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Slystarr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lucky manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
