With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Darwin Drascoe!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castello closes the distance and clinches up with Drascoe, looking for a takedown. Castello pushes Drascoe against the ropes but Drascoe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Castello has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drascoe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Drascoe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Drascoe is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Castello gets his way!

Drascoe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Castello escapes and throws Drascoe's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Castello gets tackled into the ropes by Drascoe. Drascoe maintains the clinch.
Castello jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Drascoe walks away with a smile on his face. Castello gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Castello is stalling here. Drascoe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Castello seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Drascoe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mauro Castello will probably get the nod.

Drascoe decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
