Mankiller has chosen Tribal Drums as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mankiller swivels and escapes.
Mankiller throws a head kick that misses.
Mathers shoots in for a takedown but Mankiller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mankiller thuds a left hand into Mathers's body.
Mankiller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Apache Mankiller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick from Mankiller lands but Mathers takes it in his stride.
Mankiller throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mankiller scores with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mankiller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mankiller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mathers blocks a head kick by Mankiller.

Mankiller forces Mathers back against the cage and clinches.
Mankiller misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mathers.
Mankiller lands a nice elbow.
Mankiller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mathers.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Mathers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mathers managing to block the knees to the body from Mankiller.
Mathers tries for a takedown but Mankiller manages to get underhooks.
Mankiller is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Mathers has Mankiller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mankiller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Mankiller tries to land knees in the clinch but Mathers avoids the damage to the body.

Mankiller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mankiller goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mankiller throws a sloppy head kick and Mathers moves out of range easily.
Mankiller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mathers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mankiller tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mathers is in Mankiller's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mankiller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mathers postures up in Mankiller's guard and throws a big left but Mankiller blocks it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mankiller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mathers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mathers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mankiller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mathers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mathers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mathers slips nicely into half guard.

Mathers is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mankiller is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
