Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blaze Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Blaze Blue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peterson.
Blue lands a nice looking kick to the body. Peterson takes a step back to recover.
No joy there for Blue, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Peterson shoots in looking for a takedown. Blue tries to sprawl out of it but Peterson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blue manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A solid leg kick lands there for Blue.
Blue throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Blue throws a head kick that Peterson semi-blocks.


It looks like Carlos Peterson has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peterson blocks a head kick by Blue.
Peterson blocks the body kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Peterson.
Blue stuffs the takedown attempt from Peterson. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet.
Blaze Blue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Peterson.
Peterson moves out of range of the body kick from Blue.

Peterson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peterson lands in his opponent's guard.
Peterson won't allow Blue to get back to his feet.

Blue keeping moving, preventing Peterson from controlling successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Carlos Peterson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Blue tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peterson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blue swivels and escapes.
Peterson slips a jab and a cross from Blue.
No joy there for Blue, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blue throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Peterson.
Blue is breathing heavily.
Peterson closes the distance and clinches up with Blue, looking for a takedown. Peterson pushes Blue against the cage but Blue circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Peterson.
Peterson is looking to clinch.
Blue falls off balance throwing a combination

and Peterson counters with a shoot takedown. Blue fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peterson wants to control from the top but Blue keeps moving.

Peterson drops back looking for a leg! Blue is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blue manages to kick Peterson off! Peterson jumps back into Blue's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Peterson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blue's guard.
Peterson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Peterson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Peterson is just content to waste time from the top position. Blue takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Peterson trying to control the position from guard on top but Blue is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Peterson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carlos Peterson.
A head kick misses from Peterson.
Blue misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Carlos Peterson will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Carlos Peterson's cut.
That's time! Blue's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Peterson shoots in for a takedown but Blue shows good takedown defense.
Peterson throws a sloppy head kick and Blue moves out of range easily.
Blue throws a one two combo.
Peterson is looking to clinch but Blue is avoiding it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Blue, right into the meat.
Peterson fails with a takedown attempt.
Blaze Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Blue avoids the head kick by Peterson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Peterson closes the distance and clinches up with Blue, looking for a takedown. Peterson pushes Blue against the cage but Blue circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Blaze Blue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Peterson.
Blue tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blaze Blue is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Peterson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Peterson throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Peterson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Peterson wants to control but Blue is keeping him busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Peterson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Blue is trying to escape and Peterson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Blue is forced to tap! Nice work there by Peterson! Very nice indeed!
