Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Efreitor Peter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaiah Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe has chosen Can't be Touched as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Isaiah Monroe enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monroe moves into the clinch.

Monroe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Peter tries a head kick but it misses.
Peter tries to clinch up but Monroe circles away and keeps his distance.
A jab from Monroe does it's job there.
Monroe stuffs the takedown attempt from Peter. Peter gets slowly back to his feet.
Monroe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Peter is looking to clinch.
Monroe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peter misses with a series of wild punches.
Monroe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Peter is looking to land body kicks.
Peter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Monroe throws a nice looking combination but Peter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Peter throws a wild body kick that Monroe sees coming a mile off.

Monroe lands a jab-cross combination.
Peter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Monroe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Peter fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A short right from Monroe on the inside.
Peter has Monroe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Monroe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Efreitor Peter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Monroe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Monroe counters with a nice leg kick.
Peter misses with a two punch combination.

Peter wants to control but Monroe postures up.
Monroe wants to control but Peter is keeping him busy.
Peter regains half guard.

Peter is trying to control but can't.
Peter controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Peter has hold of Monroe's hands but Monroe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Peter gets back to full guard.
Peter wants to sweep here but Monroe controlling him for the moment.
Monroe postures up in Peter's guard and throws a big left but Peter blocks it.
Monroe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Peter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Monroe manages to get himself to full guard.
Peter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Peter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
A lull in the action here.
Monroe tries to buck Peter off but Peter is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Peter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Monroe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Peter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Monroe scores with a takedown into Peter's guard.
Peter keeping moving, preventing Monroe from controlling successfully.

Monroe content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Peter has locked up a guillotine! Peter's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Monroe is holding on here and Peter must be using up a lot of energy. Monroe has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Peter gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
