Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Doby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Musashi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Yokozuna Theme. Doby is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: International Players Anthem. Miyamoto Musashi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miyamoto Musashi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Doby! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Musashi avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Musashi throws a leg kick that misses. Musashi keeps Doby at a distance using the push kick. Doby throws a right and a left that Musashi avoids nicely. Nice takedown defense from Musashi. No joy for Doby on that attempt. Doby closes the distance and pushes Musashi back into the ropes. Doby being controlled against the ropes. Musashi lands with a light punch inside. Musashi lands a nice uppercut. Musashi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Doby backwards.
It looks like Shane Doby has been cut. Doby blocking some punches.
Doby blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Doby jumps guard and drags Musashi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Doby manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Musashi sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doby wants to free his trapped foot but Musashi is holding on for dear life with his legs. Doby throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Doby throwing shots but Musashi is blocking nicely. Doby is keen to just control but Musashi is a slippery customer. Doby seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Doby is trying to control. Musashi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doby thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Musashi's head. Musashi is not content to let Doby control the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Doby thows a huge punch but Musashi dodges it nicely.
Doby not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Musashi is refusing to be controlled, as Doby sits in half guard. Doby not landing any meaningful shots this time. Doby has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doby throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Musashi taking shots to the head. Doby throws some wild stikes that Musashi manages to avoid easily.

Musashi is rocked! Doby postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Musashi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Musashi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
