Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Mot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Plocka Bananer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mot comes to the cage accompanied by Be Aggresive by Faith No More. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bananer's choice of entrance music: HIT LIKE A MAN. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Mot! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Plocka Bananer! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bananer takes one on the button. Mot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bananer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bananer scores with a jab. Mot acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Mot misses the jab. A telegraphed right hand from Mot misses the target. Mot lands with a good body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mot scores with a jab to the jaw. Mot moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Bananer goes down! Can Mot finish him!?
Bananer is rocked! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Mot throwing strikes but missing. Bananer is still in real trouble! Can Mot finish him? Mot looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bananer seems to have recovered his senses. Mot throwing strikes from guard but Bananer blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mot wants to control from the top but Bananer keeps moving. Bananer is trying to control the position but Mot postures up. Bananer keeping moving, preventing Mot from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bananer looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tom Mot just wasn't active enough. An inside leg kick from Bananer misses. A good leg kick by Mot. Tom Mot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. An inside leg kick lands from Mot. Tom Mot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bananer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bananer shoots in and drives through. Mot sprawls well. Mot throws a nice outside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bananer lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mot cracks Bananer with an open hand slap. Bananer throws a big shot that misses. Mot cracks the inside of Bananer's front leg. Bananer looks gassed! Mot connects with a solid leg kick. Mot lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Mot connects with a solid leg kick. Mot steps into range and cracks Bananer with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Bananer flops backwards and Mot dives into his guard looking to finish!
Mot missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mot is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mot postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Mot in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mot wants to control from the top but Bananer keeps moving. Mot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mot working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bananer's head. Mot lands a couple of elbows. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bananer can do anything to dispel that myth. Mot lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mot trying to control the position from guard on top but Bananer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bananer looking for a guillotine here but Mot defends easily.
Mot controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bananer keeping moving, preventing Mot from controlling successfully. Bananer wants to get back to his feet but Mot is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bananer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mot sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mot postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Mot dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bananer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mot manages to avoid it. Mot fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Bananer's corner calls for a 1-2. Bananer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Bananer shoots in for a takedown but Mot shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mot pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A slow jab from Bananer misses its intended target. Mot is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bananer can do to turn this around? Mot misses with a body shot.
Mot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mot lands a jab. Bananer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Mot lands with a kick to the temple. Bananer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's one minute gone in the round. Bananer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mot moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bananer closes the distance and clinches up with Mot, looking for a takedown. Bananer pushes Mot against the cage but Mot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mot lands a big head kick that sends Bananer to the canvas! Mot follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Mot! Tom Mot retains his lightweight title!
