The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Styles throws a leg kick which misses Hicks's front leg but catches the back leg as Hicks tries to avoid it.
Hicks on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Styles throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Styles showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hicks.
Hicks misses with an uppercut.
Styles uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hicks.
Hicks gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Styles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Styles tries a head kick but it misses.
Hicks lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Benton Styles has been cut.
Hicks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A shot to the body from Styles misses
and Hicks counters with a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Styles, as that shot connected.

and Hicks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hicks connects with a good right hand that stumbles Styles. Styles circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Styles throws a leg kick but Hicks moved away.

Hicks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hicks moves out of range as Styles strikes.
Hicks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Styles swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hicks.
Styles swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hicks throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hicks takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hicks clobbers Styles with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Styles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Styles throws a head kick but Hicks moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hicks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Styles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hicks checks a low kick from Styles.
Styles tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hicks was well out of range. Poor timing from Styles.
Styles avoids a kick to the body.
Styles takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Styles fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Hicks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Styles swivels and escapes.

Hicks throws a solid leg kick but Styles takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hicks.
Hicks connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Styles's hands.
Hicks goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Hicks misses the target.

enabling Styles to counter with a crisp jab.
Styles misses with a hook. Hicks ducked under it nicely.

Styles is rocked!
BOOM! Hicks lands a beautiful left hook that drops Styles. Styles tries to recover but Hicks is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Styles lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
