Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Kersey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lie Die (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie Die has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Kersey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lie Die!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kersey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Die has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kersey is working away from the top position though.

Kersey is looking for a kimura here.
Kersey is thwarting Die's attempts to control the position.

Kersey is working for a kimura but Die is defending it quite comfortably.

Die actively working from the bottom here.

Die is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kersey pulls his head out easily.

Kersey is trying to work for a kimura but Die is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Die is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kersey jumps into side control!

Kersey looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Kersey thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Die prevents Kersey from moving into mount.
Die tries to bench press Kersey off him but Kersey keeps the position.
Die is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Die manages to get back to half guard.
Die is trying to control but Kersey manages to pass to mount!

Kersey looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Die is working to get back to half guard.

Kersey has hold of Die's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Die manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Die regains half guard.
Die gets full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Die throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Die is trying to keep Kersey in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Die throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Die manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kersey manages to get himself to full guard.
Die won't allow Kersey to sweep him here.
Kersey keeping moving, preventing Die from controlling successfully.
Die pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kersey is keeping the position for now.
Dieis looking to pass into half guard but Kersey pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kersey is in guard.

Die is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kersey is aware though and is defending well.
Kersey trying to control the position from guard on top but Die is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Die working a defensive guard here.
Kersey won't allow Die to sweep him here.
Die looks gassed!

Kersey has gone for a leg lock! Die slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kersey's guard.
Die wants to pass the guard but Kersey is keeping the position.
Die with a flurry of punches that miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Die looking to sit in guard and control but Kersey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Die being controlled here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lie Die dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kersey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kersey showed some decent athleticism there.
Die trying to hold on to Kersey's head to control him but Kersey postures up.
Kersey trying to control from half guard but Die is working away.

Kersey is working for a submission of some sort.
Die gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Die looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Die wants to sweep here but Kersey controlling him for the moment.
Die keeping moving, preventing Kersey from controlling successfully.

Kersey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Die has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kersey has managed to get both his arms back between Die's legs - danger averted.
Lie Die has got the better of the ground game so far.

Die working for a triangle but Kersey defends it easily.
Die not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Die looking for a guillotine here but Kersey defends easily.
Die is breathing heavily.

Kersey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Die has his foot on Kersey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kersey works his way back into a safe position though.
Kersey trying to control but Die is working from the bottom.

Die working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kersey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Die is tightening it up a little... Kersey has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kersey reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kersey taps out! Nice BJJ there by Die!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Lie Die!
Lie Die tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
