Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrektik Hyol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarpi Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarpi Lawson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hrektik Hyol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarpi Lawson! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyol keeps the fight on the outside. Lawson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hyol did well to prevent Lawson getting side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hyol looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lawson passes into side control! Lawson landing a few strikes. Hyol parries the strikes from Lawson easily there. Lawson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hyol to escape.
Lawson tries for a kimura but Hyol is defending well. Lawson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hyol to see if he's OK. Hyol is looking to reverse the position. Hyol is trying to control Lawson's posture but Lawson avoids it. Lawson happy to just control the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyol wants to control but Lawson postures up. Lawson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hyol's legs. Hyol managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lawson.
Hyol controls the position for a moment. Hyol is trying to work for a sweep but Lawson has mounted him! Hyol is trying to reverse the position but instead Lawson has taken his back - oops!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawson throwing wild punches that miss their target. Good control from Lawson. Hyol trying to control but not successfully. A lull in the action here.
Hyol fending off the submission attempt from Lawson. This has been an exciting period of action! Hyol is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Lawson.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lawson looking for the RNC. Hyol wants to control his opponent's hands but Lawson gets his hands free. Hyol is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hyol just trying to survive but Lawson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Lawson controlling the position well here. Hyol rolled but Lawson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Lawson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hyol with him. Hyol is trying to defend but Lawson has an arm under the chin now! Hyol grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jarpi Lawson!
