Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Who Da (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koko LaRue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koko LaRue is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Who Da! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Koko LaRue! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da lands with a straight right. LaRue didn't see that one coming. LaRue throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Da gets tackled into the cage by LaRue. LaRue maintains the clinch. LaRue lands a good knee to the midsection. Da won't want to take too many of those. Da has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. LaRue breaks from the clinch.
LaRue throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Who Da has been cut. Da tries to bum rush LaRue with a series of wild strikes but LaRue uses good footwork to avoid the assault. LaRue closes the distance and clinches. Da tried to land a shot to the body but connects with LaRue's elbow. LaRue keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Da's efforts to push away. Da is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. LaRue's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. LaRue shoots in looking for a takedown. Da tries to sprawl out of it but LaRue keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Da manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. This has been an exciting period of action! Da throws a series of punches but LaRue moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaRue swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Da throws a series of strikes that have LaRue backpedaling.
LaRue fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Da shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. LaRue eats them both and turns towards Da to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Da throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Da stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Da wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Da lands a glancing blow to the side of LaRue's head. LaRue doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Da scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. LaRue doesn't seem bothered though. LaRue throws a head kick but Da moves out of range.
Da throws a series of strikes that have LaRue backpedaling.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Da misses with a two punch combination.
Da lands a jab-cross combination. A combination from Da does no damage. No joy there for Da, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Da lands a really nice looking cross but LaRue seems unphased.
Who Da is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A combination from Da does no damage. Who Da seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. LaRue connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. LaRue instigates a clinch. Da tries a body shot but LaRue blocks it.
Da has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. LaRue gets control of Da's arms and successfully pulls guard. LaRue will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Da is looking to stand up but LaRue won't let him. LaRue manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
LaRue lands with some strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LaRue takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. LaRue trying to control but Da is having none of it. LaRue unloads with some shots from mount but Da bucks and avoids them well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. LaRue moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Da has worked his arm free - good work by Da!
Da tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. LaRue punches the canvas rather than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Who Da will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Who Da's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
LaRue throws a sloppy head kick and Da moves out of range easily. LaRue rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Da moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Da throws a nice looking combination but LaRue bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Who Da is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A big right from LaRue misses. Da throws a right and a left that both miss. LaRue misses with a looping right. Da lands a jab. LaRue clinches up with Da and pushes him back against the cage. LaRue keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Da's efforts to push away. LaRue blocks an elbow strike. Da prevents the takedown attempt.
Da has had enough of the clinch but LaRue keeps him there for the moment. LaRue is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Da gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Da swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Da struggles to land a body shot inside as LaRue controls his hands.
Da wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but LaRue has him pressed against the cage. Da is trying to push LaRue away but LaRue has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. LaRue escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
LaRue closes the distance and pushes Da back into the cage. LaRue pulls guard. Da pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. LaRue is keeping the position for now. LaRue has his hands on Da's head, controlling the position. LaRue controls Da momentarily but Da frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Da tries to stand but LaRue is controlling from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Koko LaRue. Da rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but LaRue moves out of range and avoids them all easily. LaRue throws a nice outside leg kick. Da throws a one two combo.
LaRue misses with the combination.
Da uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before LaRue has time to react. Da feints a jab promting LaRue to slip. Da then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. LaRue slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Who Da is winning the standup battle so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! LaRue misses with a hook
and Da counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Da cracks LaRue with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The fighters circle momentarily. Da darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Da scores with a one two! LaRue had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A combination from Da does no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A big right from Da misses. Da connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed LaRue momentarily.
Da goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. LaRue throws a head kick that misses. LaRue drops his hands momentarily and Da takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. LaRue darts in and clinches Da up against the cage. Da is trying to break the clinch but LaRue has him pressed against the cage. LaRue's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice body punch from Da. LaRue tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Da swivels and escapes. Who Da has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koko LaRue. LaRue misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Da counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A looping hook to the body misses from LaRue. Da does a little dance to reset his feet. Da misses with a jab, cross combination.

Da moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. LaRue closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. LaRue content to slow the pace in the clinch.
LaRue has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. A head punch blocked on the inside by LaRue. Da tries to break free but LaRue pushes him back against the cage. LaRue ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. LaRue no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Da is fighting to break LaRue's control of his arms but LaRue is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Da trying to stand up but can't free himself from LaRue's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. LaRue trying to control the position.

Who Da dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Who Da's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
LaRue shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Da pinned against the cage. Da gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Da cracks a nice hook into LaRue's ribs. Da scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Da keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Da scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Da lands a nice hook to LaRue's body. LaRue takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Da scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. LaRue feints and then cracks Da's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Da down. Jab by Da. Da on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. LaRue rushes Da and presses him up against the cage. LaRue's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. LaRue fails to land the takedown. Who Da has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koko LaRue. Da lands with a right hand. Da will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

LaRue lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. LaRue tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Da's elbow. LaRue pulls guard effortlessly. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Da is looking to stand up but LaRue won't let him. Da wants to control from the top but LaRue keeps moving. LaRue working for a triangle but Da defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Da looking to sit in guard and control but LaRue gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. LaRue wants to control from the top but Da keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Koko LaRue. LaRue with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Da to score with a decent uppercut. Da misses with a few strikes there.
LaRue takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

LaRue digs a right hand underneath Da's ribcage. Da let out a lung full of air as it connected. Who Da is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Da is pressed up against the cage. LaRue has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Da down to the mat. Da avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Who Da. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Da, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
