Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hurley Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rodriguez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rodriguez works the jab nicely.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.

and Rodriguez counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodriguez wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it.
Rodriguez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Rodriguez eventually gives up the hold.

Jones kicks Rodriguez off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones dives in and grabs Rodriguez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodriguez pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Hurley Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
Rodriguez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.

Jones needs to keep his hands up - Rodriguez had a free shot at his head there.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rodriguez kicks off Jones and gets to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rodriguez is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Rodriguez shuts the power down on Jones. Lights out, game over! Rodriguez is your winner.
