And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zak Mckracken!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie avoids the body shot from Mckracken.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Mckracken cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Jorge Gracie has been cut.
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Mckracken.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Mckracken's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mckracken keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jorge Gracie just wasn't active enough.
Nice takedown defense from Mckracken. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
Mckracken misses with a straight left.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mckracken, as that shot connected.
Gracie slips a jab from Mckracken.

A combination from Mckracken does no damage.
Mckracken looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Mckracken misses with a wild combination.
Mckracken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Mckracken.
Mckracken throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mckracken connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jab, jab by Mckracken - just one landing.
Mckracken misses the jab.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mckracken tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mckracken to the ground. Mckracken escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mckracken throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range.
Mckracken scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mckracken scores with a sloppy right hand. Gracie should have avoided that one.


Jorge Gracie's cut is getting worse.
Mckracken misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mckracken scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mckracken lands with an overhand left.
Zak Mckracken is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mckracken fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Mckracken listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.


Gracie is rocked!
Mckracken scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Jorge Gracie's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Mckracken throws a hook but Gracie blocks it.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
No joy there for Mckracken, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mckracken connects with a superb combination that knocks Gracie out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Mckracken before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gracie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zak Mckracken!
