Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keenan Lazzar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keenan Lazzar told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keenan Lazzar! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong throws a jab when Lazzar was well out of range. Lazzar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Armstrong. Armstrong misses the shot to the body. Armstrong jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lazzar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Armstrong. Armstrong takes the fight into the clinch. Armstrong is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Armstrong scores with a nice hook to the head. Armstrong prevents Lazzar from breaking the clinch. Armstrong keeps control of Lazzar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Armstrong is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lazzar is keeping busy. Armstrong has Lazzar pushed against the cage. Lazzar is trying to break the clinch but Armstrong has him pressed against the cage. Lazzar avoids a wild elbow strike from Armstrong. Lazzar blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Armstrong throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Armstrong prevents Lazzar from breaking the clinch. Armstrong scores with a shoulder strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lazzar working hard to break the clinch. Armstrong trying to stall but Lazzar improves his position.
Armstrong works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lazzar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Armstrong is aware though and is defending well. Armstrong trying to control the position from guard on top but Lazzar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lazzar looking for a sweep. Not yet Lazzar, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lazzar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Armstrong's guard. Lazzar controlling from the top position. Lazzar trying to control the position from guard on top but Armstrong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Armstrong wants to hit a switch here but Lazzar passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Armstrong there! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Armstrong is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lazzar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lazzar landing strikes, looking to finish! Armstrong is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lazzar has hold of Armstrong's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Armstrong manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lazzar with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Armstrong tries to reverse the position but Lazzar maintains control. Armstrong is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Armstrong really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Lazzar trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Will Lazzar go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Armstrong looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Lazzar has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Armstrong! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lazzar gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
