Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Susanna Saukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vesa Konkari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Susanna Saukkonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vesa Konkari! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konkari fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Saukkonen moves into the clinch. Saukkonen scores with a nice hook to the head. Konkari is looking to control Saukkonen's arms but Saukkonen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Konkari has his back to the cage. Konkari tries to pull guard but Saukkonen won't allow it.
with the fighters clinched against the cage, Saukkonen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Konkari takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A head kick misses from Saukkonen. Konkari closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Konkari lands in his opponent's guard. Konkari trying to control the position from guard on top but Saukkonen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Konkari content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Konkari passes Saukkonen's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Konkari is keen to just control but Saukkonen is a slippery customer. Saukkonen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Konkari trying to pass the guard but Saukkonen defending well. Saukkonen is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Konkari passes the guard and advances to mount! Saukkonen is trying to stand. Saukkonen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saukkonen tries to get out of the position. Saukkonen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Saukkonen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Konkari wants to take his opponent's back but Saukkonen doesn't allow it. Konkari scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Konkari is working for a guillotine from mount but Saukkonen frees his head quite easily.
Konkari is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Saukkonen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Saukkonen! Konkari looks gassed! Konkari is looking for a triangle but Saukkonen pushes his legs off easily.
Konkari wants to sweep but no luck. Konkari tries to strike from the bottom.
Konkari looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saukkonen is one step ahead there. Saukkonen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Konkari is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Konkari lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Saukkonen! Konkari swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Saukkonen is now in Konkari's guard. A big mistake from Konkari there, giving up the dominant position! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Konkari is on top in guard.
Konkari is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Saukkonen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Saukkonen has escaped and now he's on top! Saukkonen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Konkari has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Saukkonen is looking to defend but Konkari has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Saukkonen! Konkari pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Saukkonen taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vesa Konkari!
