The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosby pivots, looking for a leg kick but Blade is out of range and Cosby settles back down.
Blade blocks a head kick by Cosby.
Blade is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cosby lands a head kick. Blade smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Blade has closed the distance and engaged Cosby in a clinch.

Blade has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cosby is trying to keep an underhook but Blade manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Cosby is in trouble now - Blade has advanced to mount!
Blade controlling his opponent.

Cosby might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cosby stands and steps away. Blade gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Blade jumps guard but Cosby stands there with Blade around his waist. Blade gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cosby had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Blade is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cosby Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Blade's back instead.
Blade tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Cosby lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blade connects with a nice short shot to Cosby's temple.

Blade thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Blade tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blade has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Blade swings around for an armbar but Cosby sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Blade's guard.
