Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earth Quake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brannigan comes to the cage accompanied by Jackyl -- The Lumberjack. Quake has chosen PRODIGY - RUN WITH THE WOLVES as his entrance music. Earth Quake will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zapp Brannigan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earth Quake! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brannigan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Quake.
Brannigan lands with a kick to the ribs.
Brannigan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Earth Quake has been cut. Brannigan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quake tries to get to full guard but Brannigan has control of the leg. Brannigan is controlling the pace.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Zapp Brannigan. Brannigan scoring well with a low kick there.
Brannigan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Quake takes a body punch but keeps moving. Quake throws a leg kick but Brannigan moved away. Brannigan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Quake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brannigan somewhat. Brannigan has a takedown stuffed. Brannigan throws a jab when Quake was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brannigan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Quake lands a big head kick that sends Brannigan tumbling to the mat! Quake takes a step backwards and waves Brannigan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Zapp Brannigan has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brannigan connects with a crisp jab. Good work by Brannigan as he checks the leg kick. Brannigan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quake sprawls well initially but Brannigan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Brannigan stops Quake from getting back to his feet.
Quake is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quake wants to improve his position but Brannigan is controlling well.
Brannigan thows a huge punch but Quake dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quake tries to roll over but Brannigan keeps him under control. Brannigan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

He's got his arms around Quake's waist but Quake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brannigan off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zapp Brannigan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quake darts in and clinches Brannigan up against the cage. Brannigan throws a punch but it's blocked by Quake. Brannigan lands a nice elbow. Brannigan misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Quake tries to stall but Brannigan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Quake misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Brannigan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quake prevents a body shot from Brannigan. A head punch on the inside from Quake fails to land. Brannigan effectively controlling the action here. Quake trying to land knees to the body.

Quake throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brannigan blocks it with crossed arms. Brannigan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Quake tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Brannigan avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Quake misses with a knee strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A quick uppercut on the inside from Quake. Brannigan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Brannigan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zapp Brannigan will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brannigan thuds his shin into the meat of Quake's side. Brannigan misses with a head kick.
Brannigan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Quake stuffs the takedown attempt from Brannigan. Brannigan gets slowly back to his feet. Brannigan lands with a kick to the temple. Quake shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That has opened up Earth Quake's cut even more. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brannigan looks to land a combination but Quake avoids it well. Brannigan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Quake counters with a left and a right that stings Brannigan. Brannigan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quake circles away quickly and effectively. That's one minute gone in the round. Brannigan fails with the takedown and Quake holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zapp Brannigan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quake throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Brannigan throws a punch but it's blocked by Quake. Brannigan stalling in the clinch but Quake improves position. Brannigan tries to work over Quake's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Brannigan working aggressively here.
Brannigan misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brannigan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Quakes head. Quake is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Quake tries to throw a body punch but Brannigan avoids it by throwing Quake back against the cage. Brannigan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Brannigan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Quake tries to clinch but Brannigan moves out of range. Zapp Brannigan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brannigan with a hook. Brannigan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quake moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Quake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quake wants it to stay on the feet. Quake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brannigan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brannigan. Brannigan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Brannigan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quake sprawls well. Quake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brannigan gets slowly back to his feet. Quake tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quake throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brannigan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Brannigan scores with a nice head shot. Brannigan works over Quake's head and body with a nice combination. An inside leg kick lands from Brannigan. Brannigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrible takedown by Brannigan or perhaps it was just good defense by Quake which made him look bad. Quake misses with a hook. Brannigan ducked under it nicely. Quake tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Quake has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brannigan finds it's way round the side to connect with Quake's head. Quake has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Brannigan. Quake is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quake has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Quake there as he acknowledges the shot.
The cut above Earth Quake's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brannigan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Brannigan slips a straight right by Quake. Brannigan scores with a leg kick.
Brannigan cracks Quake with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Quake takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Brannigan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brannigan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Zapp Brannigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quake takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Quake avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brannigan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Brannigan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Quake. That did some damage! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zapp Brannigan dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Brannigan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Brannigan connects with a jab. Brannigan shoots in and drives through. Quake sprawls well. Brannigan throws a right and a left that Quake avoids nicely. Brannigan's corner calls for a 1-2. Brannigan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Quake doesn't manage to clinch there - Brannigan circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brannigan trying to control the position but instead, Quake has worked for underhooks and has pushed Brannigan into the cage. Brannigan avoiding damage as Quake throws knees to the body.
Brannigan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Earth Quake's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Brannigan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Brannigan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Brannigan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Earth Quake's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Zapp Brannigan!
