Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thai comes to the cage accompanied by Town Called Malice. Muay Thai had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muay Thai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raul Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez scores with the left hand. Thai knows he should have avoided that one. Thai takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Muay Thai has been cut. Thai throws a leg kick but Gonzalez moved away. Thai fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gonzalez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Gonzalez shoots in but no luck this time. Gonzalez fails with a takedown attempt. Gonzalez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Muay Thai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Gonzalez. Thai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gonzalez. Thai thows a body shot but no joy. A head kick from Thai lands but Gonzalez takes it in his stride.
It looks like Raul Gonzalez has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gonzalez's calf. Gonzalez scoring well with a low kick there.
Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Thai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Gonzalez or perhaps it was just good defense by Thai which made him look bad. Thai throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Thai keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gonzalez throws a big shot that misses. Thai throws a push kick but Gonzalez slaps the foot to one side. Gonzalez lands with an uppercut that bounces Thai off the cage and back into rage. Gonzalez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Gonzalez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thai's guard. Thai keeping moving, preventing Gonzalez from controlling successfully. Gonzalez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thai works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez postures up in Thai's guard and throws a big left but Thai blocks it. Gonzalez passes Thai's left leg - he's now in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thai keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Thai blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gonzalez. Gonzalez performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gonzalez lands with a punch from half guard. Thai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gonzalez on the ground. Gonzalez is working for a kimura but Thai is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Thai looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gonzalez passes to full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee warns Thai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Thai really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Thai takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Gonzalez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thai is working to get back to half guard.
Thai wants to control but Gonzalez is having none of it. Gonzalez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Thai on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Thai tries to get out of the position. Thai bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Gonzalez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gonzalez wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gonzalez has his feet on Thai's thighs here. He's pushed Thai off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Thai screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
