Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jakz Skedol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biff Hemlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hemlock has chosen Champagneros as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jakz Skedol has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jakz Skedol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Biff Hemlock! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skedol connects with a body shot. Hemlock thows a left - swing and a miss! Hemlock throws a combination that misses and Hemlock takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Skedol wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hemlock throws an overhand right that lands on Skedol's shoulder, as Skedol tries to avoid the shot. Skedol lands with an uppercut that bounces Hemlock off the cage and back into rage. Skedol moves out of range of the body kick from Hemlock.
Skedol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Skedol swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Skedol misses with a few strikes there.
Hemlock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Skedol avoids it really well and circles away. Skedol avoids the head kick by Hemlock.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skedol looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hemlock lands a nice looking body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skedol swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hemlock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Jakz Skedol has been cut. Hemlock throws a series of punches but Skedol avoids them all with ease. Hemlock shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Skedol's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hemlock looking to pass the guard. Hemlock in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hemlock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hemlock sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hemlock looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hemlock throwing strikes from guard but Skedol blocks nicely. Skedol pulls Hemlock in to control the position. Hemlock pushing down on Skedol's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hemlock keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hemlock wants to work for an arm triangle but Skedol is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hemlock content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hemlock is thwarting Skedol's attempts to control the position. Hemlock is looking to advance position but Skedol won't allow it. Hemlock sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hemlock shoots in looking for a takedown. Skedol tries to sprawl out of it but Hemlock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Skedol manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Biff Hemlock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skedol lands with a hook. Hemlock tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hemlock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jakz Skedol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Biff Hemlock. Hemlock scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Hemlock takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Skedol connects with a right hand. Hemlock shakes it off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hemlock swings for the body but Skedol moves out of range.
Good shot there by Skedol. Skedol is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Skedol throws a right hand that Hemlock ducks under and follows up with a left that Hemlock also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Biff Hemlock will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jakz Skedol's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hemlock throws a right hand that Skedol ducks under and follows up with a left that Skedol also avoids with ease. Jakz Skedol is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hemlock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hemlock throws a right and a left that Skedol avoids nicely. Hemlock moves to clinch but Skedol breaks away and Skedol counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Skedol is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Hemlock takes one to the side of the head.
Hemlock pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hemlock looks to land a combination but Skedol avoids it well. Hemlock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hemlock tests Skedol's chin there with a solid looking shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Skedol. Hemlock does a little dance to reset his feet. Hemlock throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Skedol's waist but Skedol gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hemlock off to one side. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Skedol throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skedol lands a left and a right that send Hemlock crashing to the mat, dazed. Skedol thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Biff Hemlock has been cut. Hemlock is breathing heavily. Skedol comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Skedol lands a nice shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Skedol. Skedol drops Hemlock with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hemlock looks back up at him and smiles so Skedol waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hemlock is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Skedol engages and cracks Hemlock with a massive lead left hook - Hemlock tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Skedol is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jakz Skedol!
