Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elias Adramelech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauro Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Elias Adramelech!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauro Guerra!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Guerra is looking to break free of the clinch but Adramelech has double underhooks.
Guerra looking to throw knees to the head but Adramelech is blocking nicely.
Guerra has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Adramelech avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Adramelech is trying to trip Guerra. He has hold of a leg but Guerra is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Adramelech persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Guerra keeping moving, preventing Adramelech from controlling successfully.
Adramelech knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guerra on the ground.
Adramelech is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guerra is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guerra lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adramelech!

Guerra sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Adramelech wants to get back to his feet.
Guerra trying to control but Adramelech is having none of it.

Adramelech is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Guerra has taken his back!
Guerra tries to get the hooks in deep but Adramelech pushed the leg off.

Adramelech covering up well under a series of strikes from Guerra.
Good control from Guerra.
Adramelech controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Adramelech is breathing heavily.

Guerra is landing with strikes from the back.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Guerra. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Guerra keeps control of the position easily here as Adramelech tries to buck him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Guerra fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Guerra drives through and clinches with Adramelech against the cage.

Adramelech is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Guerra can't fight it off and eventually Adramelech manages to take the fight to the floor. Guerra looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guerra is on top in guard.
Adramelech wants to get back to his feet but Guerra passes into half guard.

Guerra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adramelech keeps working.
Guerra works his way into full mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Guerra is landing with some decent strikes but Adramelech is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Guerra looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Adramelech is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Guerra has taken his back!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Guerra.
Adramelech is keeping busy.
Adramelech is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Guerra scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Mauro Guerra has got the better of the ground game so far.
Adramelech controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Guerra working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Adramelech is doing well to defend. Guerra seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Adramelech is forced to tap and this one is over!
