Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juanito Sandoval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Brawler!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler tries for a takedown but Sandoval sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brawler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sandoval manages to avoid it.
Sandoval takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sandoval blocks a head kick by Brawler.
Brawler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brawler throws a jab but it's blocked by Sandoval.
Brawler missing with a left hand there. Sandoval was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sandoval throws an overhand right that lands on Brawler's shoulder, as Brawler tries to avoid the shot.
A head kick by Brawler misses
and Sandoval counters with a head kick that drops Brawler to the mat! Brawler scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Brawler is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brawler throws an overhand right that lands on Sandoval's shoulder, as Sandoval tries to avoid the shot.
Brawler is still on wobbly legs! Can Sandoval finish him?
Brawler bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Sandoval comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Brawler falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Brawler was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juanito Sandoval!
