Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Jose's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Jose circles away.
Jose shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Jose keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Jose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jose sprawls well. Jose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva has managed to clinch.
Silva is struggling to control the position.
Silva gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jose.
Anderson Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Jose.
Silva has hold of one of Jose's legs. Jose is fighting the takedown attempt but Silva gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jose is proving hard to escape from.
Jose keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully.
Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silva is sitting in close to Jose's body. Jose has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silva is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silva is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jose.
