Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Flock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Root (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flock comes to the cage accompanied by Sympathy for the devil. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flock is looking to clinch but Root is avoiding it.
Root gets a clinch.
Root is trying to drag Flock to the mat but Flock just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Root manages to break the clinch.
Root shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flock as he jumps to the side.
Flock moves to clinch but Root breaks away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Flock rushes Root and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Root's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Root goes for a takedown attempt but Flock pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Flock closes the distance and clinches.
Root tries for a takedown but Flock manages to get underhooks.
Root jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Flock walks away with a smile on his face. Root gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Root rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Flock has managed to clinch.
Flock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Root is defending well for now.
Flock has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Root uses from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Michel Root seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Root looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flock is fending him off so far but Root persists. Nope, Flock circles away and we're back to standing.

Flock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Root, up you get!
Flock tries to close the distance and clinch but Root swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Michel Root is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
