Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leland Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sgt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sgt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Full Metal Jacket. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sgt works over Chapman's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Leland Chapman has been cut.
Sgt blocks a jab.
Sgt throws a nice inside leg kick.
Chapman swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sgt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A big left from Chapman misses.
Sgt paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Chapman throws a hook to the side of Sgt's head but Sgt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jab, jab by Chapman - just one landing.
It looks like Lee Sgt has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A slow jab from Chapman misses its intended target.
Chapman cracks Sgt with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sgt tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chapman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sgt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leland Chapman!
