Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Vodka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Lunin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vodka comes into the arena with Alcohol blaring out of the sound system. Boris Lunin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Vodka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Lunin! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lunin is looking to clinch. Lunin closes the distance looking to clinch and Vodka counters with a shoot takedown. Lunin fights it but they end up in guard. Vodka drops back looking for a leg! Lunin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lunin manages to kick Vodka off! Vodka jumps back into Lunin's guard. Lunin keeping full guard, as Vodka tries to pass. Vodka postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lunin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vodka controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Vodka throws and elbow that misses. Lunin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vodka's guard. Nice move by Lunin! Vodka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Vodka wants to stand and escape but Lunin is having none of it. Vodka could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vlad Vodka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Lunin looks to clinch and Vodka counters with a takedown into side control. Vodka controlling from side mount. Vodka misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vodka working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sloppy strikes there by Vodka. Vodka creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lunin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Lunin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vodka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lunin pushes Vodka away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vodka gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vodka in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Lunin taking a bit of punishment here - Vodka scoring with strikes. Vodka throws an elbow but Lunin slips to the side and avoids it well. Lunin dodges the ground and pound from Vodka. Vodka working the ground and pound but Lunin is defending the strikes. Vodka remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Lunin gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vodka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Vodka postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lunin looks a forlorn figure.

Lunin tries to clinch but Vodka moves away and Vodka counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Vodka passes to full mount! Vodka landing strikes from the mount and Lunin is in trouble! Vodka scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lunin?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vodka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vodka with the ground and pound from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vodka with a couple of short strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vodka is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lunin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Vodka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vodka working away from the top, dropping strikes. Vodka is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lunin can do to turn this around? Vodka connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Vodka is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lunin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lunin shrugs it off. Vodka controlling from the full mount. Vodka jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lunin manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Vlad Vodka dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vodka stands up over Lunin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Vodka thows a big elbow that misses. Vodka working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vodka is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Vodka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lunin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vodka works over Lunin with some ground and pound from guard. Vodka is looking to work some ground and pound but Lunin has wrist control. Vodka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vodka's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Vodka pushing down on Lunin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vodka lands with a punch from half guard. Vodka trying to control the pace. Vodka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that's the end of the fight! Vlad Vodka showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vodka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
