Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Budo Rei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Honey Smacks!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smacks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rei feints and then cracks Smacks's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smacks down.
Smacks throws a hook to the side of Rei's head but Rei sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rei takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Smacks throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smacks is trying to force a seperation but Rei has the dominant position.
Rei keeps control of Smacks as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rei effectively controlling the action here.
Rei working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Smacks is trying to break free.
Rei prevents Smacks from breaking the clinch.
Rei pushes Smacks back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smacks looks gassed!

Rei swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Rei throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rei.
Smacks seems to have recovered his senses.
Rei slowing the pace effectively.
Rei is working Smacks over against the cage.
Rei creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Smacks with a big uppercut! Smacks tries to clinch up but Rei pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Smacks to the mat! Smacks covers up and Rei unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
