The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in and bounces Ace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ace is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ace, up you get!
Ace has his takedown stuffed
and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ace wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jackson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jackson is pushing down on Ace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ace is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jackson slips a nice elbow through Ace's hands, connecting with Ace's forehead.
It looks like Mark Ace has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson trying to pass the guard but Ace defending well.
Jackson is working hard here to advance position.
Jackson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That has opened up Mark Ace's cut even more.
Jackson works his foot free and advances to mount.
Ace in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The cut above Mark Ace's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Ace's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
