Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johann Jennsensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agrippa Kohr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johann Jennsensen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agrippa Kohr! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kohr fails in his attempt to clinch. Jennsensen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kohr sprawls well initially but Jennsensen persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jennsensen trying to control the pace. Jennsensen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kohr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kohr. Kohr is looking for a triangle but Jennsensen pushes his legs off easily.
Jennsensen slips nicely into half guard. Kohr is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jennsensen jumps into side control! Jennsensen lands a decent elbow from side control. Jennsensen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kohr's legs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jennsensen is staying tight to Kohr's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jennsensen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kohr has escaped the position, nice work there. Kohr can't do much from the bottom here. Kohr is looking to reverse the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kohr is trying to work for a sweep but Jennsensen has mounted him! Jennsensen looking for a guillotine from mount but Kohr is having none of it. Jennsensen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jennsensen looking to control but Kohr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kohr tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kohr is bucking up trying to escape but Jennsensen cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Jennsensen in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kohr is trying to escape the mount.
Kohr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jennsensen tries to control but Kohr wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jennsensen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jennsensen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kohr is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jennsensen with good strikes from the mount here! Jennsensen breaks from Kohr's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jennsensen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kohr to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kohr shrugs it off. Jennsensen avoids the attempt from Kohr to control. Kohr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jennsensen wants to control the pace but Kohr is squirming around nicely. Jennsensen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Jennsensen content just to control the position here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jennsensen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kohr has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kohr! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jennsensen wants to control the position but Kohr says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jennsensen throws out a loose jab but Kohr uses good head movement to avoid it. Kohr drops Jennsensen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jennsensen looks back up at him and smiles so Kohr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Agrippa Kohr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kohr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jennsensen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kohr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jennsensen.
Kohr closes the distance looking to clinch and Jennsensen counters with a single leg into guard. Kohr didn't expect that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kohr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jennsensen controls the pace. Kohr is looking for a triangle here but Jennsensen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jennsensen wants to control but Kohr is keeping busy. Kohr tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Jennsensen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters land in half guard but Kohr regains guard immediately. Kohr wants to sweep here but Jennsensen controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jennsensen passes Kohr's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kohr is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jennsensen jumps into side control! Jennsensen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jennsensen wants to control but Kohr is keeping him busy.

Kohr wants to control but Jennsensen postures up. Jennsensen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kohr wants to control but Jennsensen postures up. The referee asks Jennsensen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jennsensen prefers to stall for the moment though. Kohr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jennsensen off and has taken his back! Kohr patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Jennsensen rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kohr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jennsensen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kohr. Kohr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kohr is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Kohr tries to control but Jennsensen wriggling away. Jennsensen wants to hold on but Kohr pushes him away. Kohr fails to advance to Jennsensen's back. Jennsensen tries to lock up and control but Kohr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jennsensen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Kohr wants to control but Jennsensen is keeping him busy. Jennsensen wants to control but Kohr is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kohr is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jennsensen! Jennsensen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jennsensen gets back to half guard. Kohr is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jennsensen reverses the position - he's now on top in Kohr's guard. Kohr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jennsensen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kohr's guard. Jennsensen is working for a kimura but Kohr is defending it quite comfortably.
Kohr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jennsensen performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kohr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jennsensen is just content to waste time from the top position. Kohr takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Agrippa Kohr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jennsensen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kohr has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jennsensen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kohr.
And that's the end of the fight! Johann Jennsensen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jennsensen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
