No joy there for Ruutu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ruutu decides to stand up, so the ref orders Taylor to his feet.
Ruutu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taylor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alex Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor wants to clinch up but Ruutu keeps it at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Taylor shoots in but Ruutu avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Taylor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ruutu tries to avoid it but Taylor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ruutu to the ground. Ruutu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Ruutu knocks Taylor out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
