Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adalberto Bolivar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adalberto Bolivar! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolivar throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Tommy Stevens has been cut. A leg kick checked by Stevens. Stevens tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bolivar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stevens looks to clinch and Bolivar counters with a series of strikes that sends Stevens to the canvas! Bolivar follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Stevens is looking for a triangle but Bolivar pushes his legs off easily.
Bolivar throws a big right hand that misses. Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stevens looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bolivar is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bolivar throws a strike but Stevens rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stevens postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bolivar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stevens, into his guard. Bolivar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolivar chips away with some ground and pound. Bolivar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bolivar wants to control from the top but Stevens keeps moving. Bolivar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bolivar throwing strikes from guard but Stevens blocks nicely. Bolivar pushing down on Stevens's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Stevens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bolivar not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bolivar working over Stevens with some ground and pound. Stevens looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bolivar trying to control from Stevens's half guard. Stevens has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bolivar stopping the sweep attempt from Stevens. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bolivar throwing strikes from guard but Stevens blocks nicely. Bolivar trying to control but Stevens is working from the bottom. Bolivar stands up over Stevens, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Bolivar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bolivar with a flurry of punches that miss. Stevens is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bolivar is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bolivar lands a couple of elbows. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bolivar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Stevens preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bolivar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bolivar is in close to Stevens's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bolivar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Stevens looking for a sweep. Not yet Stevens, not yet. Bolivar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bolivar tries to free his leg and advance position but Stevens is retaining full guard. Bolivar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Stevens working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bolivar. Nice move by Stevens! Stevens is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Stevens throws a strike but Bolivar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bolivar thows a big elbow that misses. Bolivar is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevens has wrist control. Bolivar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stevens striking from the bottom.
Bolivar throwing strikes from guard but Stevens blocks nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stevens has his foot on Bolivar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bolivar works his way back into a safe position though. Bolivar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adalberto Bolivar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tommy Stevens's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Stevens gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bolivar misses with a few strikes there.
Bolivar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stevens tries to clinch but Bolivar is having none of it. Bolivar misses with the combination.
Stevens fails to land the takedown. Bolivar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stevens looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Stevens is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bolivar still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bolivar has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Bolivar landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolivar is working to tighten is grip on Stevens's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Stevens has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bolivar is really squeezing tight and eventually Stevens passes out! Bolivar breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Adalberto Bolivar!
