The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Fashigadow.
Van Damme bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fashigadow can't do much from the bottom here.
Van Damme controlling the position.
Van Damme goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fashigadow has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Van Damme but great work by Fashigadow.

Van Damme wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Van Damme is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Fashigadow trying to control the action but Van Damme is working from the bottom.
Fashigadow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Van Damme is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Van Damme is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fashigadow connects with a decent elbow.
Fashigadow moves into full mount!
Van Damme wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Fashigadow has managed to slip his arm under Van Damme's chin. This could be all over... yep, Van Damme is tapping out! Submission win for Fashigadow.
