The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulk keeps the fight on the outside.
Hulk fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mexican shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hulk but Hulk pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mexican misses with a wild combination.
Hulk shoots in for a takedown but Mexican shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hulk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mexican sprawls well initially but Hulk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hulk stops Mexican from getting back to his feet.
Mexican is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hulk pulls his head out easily.
Mexican moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mexican is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hulk is posturing up here but Mexican has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hulk tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hulk has to tap! Slick submission there by Mexican!
