Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Feil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manos de Piedra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de Piedra has chosen Hecho en Mexico as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Manos de Piedra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Feil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Manos de Piedra! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with de Piedra but de Piedra pushes him off and we're back to square one. Feil really is a fat lump. de Piedra clinches up against the cage. de Piedra landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Feil wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. de Piedra prevents a takedown attempt there.
de Piedra breaks from the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by de Piedra. Feil is breathing heavily. de Piedra staying calm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. I looks like de Piedra might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. de Piedra decides to stand back up. de Piedra steps back and let's Feil get back to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Feil as de Piedra shoots in. de Piedra shoots for a double leg takedown but Feil sprawls well. He's pushed de Piedra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. de Piedra scores with a jab to the jaw. Feil throws a poor cross that misses
and de Piedra moves into the clinch. Feil prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dan Feil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manos de Piedra. Feil with a knee to the head.

Feil is looking to stand up but de Piedra won't let him. Feil decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. de Piedra fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Feil sprawls well initially but de Piedra persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Feil is trying to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. de Piedra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than de Piedra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! This has been an exciting period of action! Feil has given up his back here.
de Piedra has good solid back control here. de Piedra's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. de Piedra tries to get the hooks in deep but Feil pushed the leg off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Feil wants to get back to his feet. Feil defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. de Piedra is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Feil looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A bit of a pause in the action here. de Piedra controlling the positon. Feil tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manos de Piedra dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Feil misses with the body kick and de Piedra counters by moving into the clinch. Feil can't break the clinch.

de Piedra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Feil throws out the jab. Feil throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Feil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with de Piedra but de Piedra pushes him off and we're back to square one. Feil bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Feil throws a combination that misses and de Piedra counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Feil's guard now. Feil wants to stand up but de Piedra is controlling him. de Piedra is stalling in the full guard. de Piedra is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Feil is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Feil is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. de Piedra being controlled here momentarily. Feil is looking to stand up but de Piedra isn't so interested in that idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. de Piedra decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Feil, up you get! Feil throws a head kick that misses and de Piedra counters with a head kick. Feil throws a head kick that misses and de Piedra decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Feil's guard. Feil is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Feil is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and de Piedra dives into side control.
de Piedra has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A choreographed right hand from Feil misses the target. Feil rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and de Piedra counters by moving into the clinch. Feil tries a body shot but de Piedra blocks it.
Feil wants a takedown.
Feil is trying to work for a single leg takedown but de Piedra pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Feil. That's going to take a lot out of him. de Piedra has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Feil regains guard immediately. Feil working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from de Piedra. de Piedra controlling from the top position. Feil wants to stand but de Piedra is controlling the position. de Piedra gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Feil fails with the takedown and de Piedra counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Feil tries to clinch but de Piedra moves away and de Piedra counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. de Piedra is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Feil working a defensive guard here.
de Piedra wants to control from the top but Feil keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Feil wants to get back to his feet but de Piedra is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manos de Piedra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

On your feet son! Feil wants to clinch but de Piedra slips to the side and de Piedra counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! de Piedra won't allow Feil to get back to his feet. de Piedra is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Feil keeping moving, preventing de Piedra from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. de Piedra looking to pass the guard. de Piedra postures up and lands a big shot to Feil's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. de Piedra slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Feil looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. de Piedra stands up from guard. Let's bang! de Piedra has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nice sprawl there from de Piedra as Feil shoots in. Dan Feil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. de Piedra scores with a spinning back kick! Feil lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

de Piedra has been the more effective fighter overall so far. de Piedra controlling the position easily from mount. Let's hope that de Piedra has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. de Piedra lands a heavy elbow. de Piedra tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dan Feil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Manos de Piedra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well de Piedra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
