Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Foran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettis comes to the cage accompanied by UFC - Face the Pain. Kieran Foran will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Pettis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kieran Foran! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foran looks to land a combination but Pettis avoids it well. Pettis dives in and grabs Foran's left leg, looking for a takedown. Foran pushes down on Pettis's head and hops out. Foran misses with a wild combination.
Foran stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Foran wants it to stay on the feet. Foran scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Foran lands a jab. Foran misses with a wild combination.
Foran throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pettis avoids the body shot from Foran.
Foran takes a swing at Pettis's ribcage but misses. Kieran Foran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foran lands with a straight right. Pettis didn't see that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pettis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Foran quickly recovers to half guard. Pettis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Foran doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pettis. Pettis works his way into full mount! Pettis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pettis working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Foran turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pettis off and cradles Foran's limp body as Pettis celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Anthony Pettis!
