Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Bainite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bert Bainite!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bainite has taken the fight to the clinch.
Harris gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bainite.
Harris has Bainite pressed against the cage, preventing Bainite from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Harris stops a takedown attempt from Bainite.
Bainite has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Harris avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jake Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bert Bainite.
Harris tries to pull guard but Bainite holds him up against the cage and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.
Bainite ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bainite no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Harris wants to control from the top but Bainite keeps moving.
Bainite seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Harris leaves Bainite with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bainite drives through and clinches with Harris against the cage.

Bainite can't find room to land a body shot as Harris controls the action.
Bainite tries for a takedown but Harris manages to get underhooks.

Harris goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bainite prevents it.
Bainite is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Harris is defending well for now.

Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bainite walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bainite throws a right hand that Harris ducks under and follows up with a left that Harris also avoids with ease.

Harris has a takedown stuffed.
Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bainite to the mat! Bainite manages to get full guard.
Bainite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bainite working a defensive guard but Harris manages to pass into side control anyway.
The ground and pound from Harris seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Harris fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Bainite regains half guard there - taking advantage of Harris's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bainite manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bainite throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Harris escapes and throws Bainite's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harris tries to move to mount but Bainite blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bainite is trying to control Harris's posture but Harris avoids it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bainite has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Harris will probably get the nod.
That's time! Harris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice sprawl there from Harris as Bainite shoots in.
Harris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Harris wants to control for a moment but Bainite uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Harris is keen to just control but Bainite is a slippery customer.

Harris looking to secure an arm triangle but Bainite defends it well.
Bainite is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bainite defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Harris.
Bainite manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Harris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bainite is just riding it out for now. Harris eventually gives up the hold.

Harris is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bainite has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Harris swats away the attempt to clinch by Bainite.
Bainite darts in and clinches Harris up against the cage.
Bainite has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Harris regains guard immediately.

Harris has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bainite is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Harris.

Bainite stands up and beckons Harris to his feet.
Harris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bainite.
Bainite stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet.
Harris closes the distance and clinches up with Bainite, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes Bainite against the cage but Bainite circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bainite throws a left and a right that both miss
and Harris counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bainite's guard now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bainite takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Harris drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bainite dives on top into guard.
Harris has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bainite doesn't defend quickly enough and Harris has managed to lock this one up! Can Bainite escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Harris on a fantastic submission victory.
