Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent throws a right and a left that Clark avoids nicely. Clark throws a leg kick which misses Kent's front leg but catches the back leg as Kent tries to avoid it. Kent lands with an overhand left. A solid body kick from Clark. A left lands for Clark. Kent bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Clark is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kent asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kent is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Clark has escaped the position, nice work there. Kent laying and praying for a moment but Clark takes advantage and regains half guard. Clark trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark tries to kick Kent off but Kent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Clark wants to improve his position but Kent is controlling well.
Kent seems to be looking for submissions.

Taylor Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kent looks to score with a jab to the body but Clark is just out of range. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Clark. Kent ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clark moves away. Kent jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kent misses with a hook. Clark takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Clark slips a jab and a cross from Kent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clark takes one to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark is looking to land body kicks. Kent throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kent bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kent lands with a good body shot. Clark lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kent takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kent tries to bum rush Clark with a series of wild strikes but Clark uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kent throws a hook to the side of Clark's head but Clark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kent is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clark sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kent misses with a jab to the body
and Clark counters with a slapping leg kick. Clark avoids the body shot from Kent.
Kent fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clark manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark moves out of range as Kent strikes. Clark jabs Kent right on the nose. Kent blinks but takes it well. Kent lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Clark with a body punch. A glancing blow. Clark moves out of range as Kent strikes. Kent misses with a wild body shot. Clark moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kent throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kent throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kent slips a jab from Clark. Kent misses with a body shot.
Clark takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clark Kent dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kent closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kent lands in his opponent's guard. Kent tries to free his leg and advance position but Clark is retaining full guard. Kent thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Clark is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kent is controlling him. Clark manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kent manages to get himself to full guard.
Kent looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kent is trying to keep Clark in close.
Clark has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kent is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clark defends well. Kent working for a triangle but Clark defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark wants to get up but he can't break Kent's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Clark Kent has got the better of the ground game so far. Clark seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kent looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Clark wants to stand but Kent has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kent has a closed guard, preventing Clark from standing up. Clark has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kent not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Taylor Clark just wasn't active enough. Kent ducks under a wild hook from Clark. Kent swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kent swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kent takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kent takes a swing at Clark's ribcage but misses. Kent avoids the head kick by Clark.
Kent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Clark rather than just go for the knockout. Clark ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A jab from Clark misses. Kent throws a looping overhand right but Clark ducks down to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clark Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Kent with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Clark to score with a decent uppercut. Kent has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Clark. Kent shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clark eats them both and turns towards Kent to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. A head kick misses from Clark. Clark uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kent. Kent tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clark swivels and escapes. Clark delivers a nice body kick. Clark Kent seems to be getting the better of the standup. Clark throws a sloppy head kick and Kent moves out of range easily. Clark throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clark lands with a right hand. Kent avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Clark fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kent on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent misses with a shot to the body and Clark counters with a thumping low kick. Clark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Clark throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Clark chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Clark is looking to chop away at Kent's legs. Decent striking displayed by Clark there. Clark throws the kick towards the body but Kent avoids it. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Clark walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kent checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kent throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Taylor Clark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clark Kent is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark throws a push kick but Kent slaps the foot to one side. Clark wants to slow Kent down by chopping away at his legs. Clark ducks under a wild hook from Kent. Clark misses with a body shot.

A jab from Kent misses. Clark swings away with a leg kick that misses. Clark takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kent throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Clark loads up on a big right hand but Kent slips the punch. Kent slips under a jab. Clark scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kent uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clark. Kent throws a right and a left that Clark avoids nicely. Kent misses with a low kick. Clark misses with a straight left. Kent looks for a takedown but Clark sprawls well. Kent takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Good shot there by Kent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kent manages to avoid it. Kent misses with a body shot.
A jab from Kent finds it's way through Clark's defenses. Clark ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Clark takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Clark throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Clark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kent swings and misses with a shot to the body and Clark counters with a solid body kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Clark throws a sloppy head kick and Kent moves out of range easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kent slips under a jab from Clark. Clark misses with an attempted mid kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Clark.
And that's the end of the fight! Taylor Clark showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kent has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
