The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutherland throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sutherland throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James.
James doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Sutherland to counter with a crisp jab.
Sutherland connects with a body shot.
Sutherland throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Paul Sutherland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sutherland throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James.
James shoots and misses
and Sutherland counters with a nice body kick.
James has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from James there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
James is breathing heavily.

James fails with the takedown
and Sutherland scores with a counter punch that sends James to the canvas! Sutherland smells blood - he's punishing James with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! James has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
