Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Frankie Edgar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Kim! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim with a lazy takedown attempt and Edgar counters with a series of strikes. Kim will be more careful next time no doubt. Edgar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Edgar fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Edgar throws a right and a left that Kim avoids nicely. Kim scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Kim has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Edgar throws a right and a left that both miss. Kim slips a jab from Edgar. Edgar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Edgar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Edgar moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Kim. Kim manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kim looks gassed! Edgar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kim looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Edgar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Edgar looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kim misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Edgar rolls with it to try and escape but Kim cranks on the arm and Edgar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
