3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Thorpe! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ scores a takedown into full mount! Christ looking to control and managing it successfully. Christ trying to control but he's not successful this time. Thorpe is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Thorpe avoids a series of strikes thrown by Christ.
Thorpe is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Christ goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Thorpe turns into him and now he's in Christ's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Scott Thorpe was stalling too much, according to the referee. Christ tries to clinch and Thorpe counters with a single leg into guard. Christ didn't expect that. Let's see if Thorpe can do anything to dispel that myth. Christ throws a big right hand that misses. Christ throwing strikes but missing. Christ tries to free his leg and advance position but Thorpe is retaining full guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Christ is stalling in the full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Jesus Christ wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Thorpe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thorpe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Thorpe closes the distance and pushes Christ back into the cage. Christ working hard to break the clinch. Thorpe wants to take the fight to the mat but Christ manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Thorpe is looking for a takedown. Jesus Christ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Thorpe. Christ pushes Thorpe back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Christ breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Christ looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Christ shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Christ showed some decent athleticism there. Christ throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Christ trying to control the action but Thorpe is working from the bottom. Thorpe wants to improve his position but Christ is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ wants to free his trapped foot but Thorpe is holding on for dear life with his legs. Christ thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Thorpe's head. Thorpe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Christ. Christ is looking to stall here but Thorpe recovers full guard. Christ advances to half guard.

Christ is looking to work some ground and pound but Thorpe has wrist control. Christ trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Thorpe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Christ's guard. Christ tries to land a sweep but no joy. Christ looking for a guillotine here but Thorpe defends easily.

Christ is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Thorpe is keeping busy. Thorpe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Christ after a bit of a struggle. Christ breaks the clinch.

It looks like Scott Thorpe has been cut. Christ darts in trying to clinch and Thorpe counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Christ! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice elbow there by Thorpe. Thorpe thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Thorpe postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Christ looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thorpe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Thorpe is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Christ goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Thorpe!
