Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Guerra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Reise, Reise. Silva has chosen Fuel as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Guerra looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Silva throws a head kick that Guerra semi-blocks.
Silva cracks Guerra with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guerra avoids it really well and circles away.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guerra pinned against the cage. Guerra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guerra shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Guerra finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Guerra is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.

Silva feints and then cracks Guerra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Guerra down.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerra manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Silva thows a body kick. Guerra tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Wanderlei Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Guerra is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Silva.
Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Guerra sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Guerra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.

Guerra chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.
Silva scores with a one two! Guerra had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Silva thuds his right hand into Guerra's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Silva looks for a takedown but Guerra sprawls well.

Guerra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva is working to avoid the ground and pound but Guerra connects with a decent elbow.

Guerra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Guerra eventually gives up the hold.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Guerra is working away from the top position though.
