The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PrudHomme fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tatum avoids it really well and circles away.
Tatum throws a wild body kick that PrudHomme sees coming a mile off.
Tatum thuds a left hand into PrudHomme's body.
Tatum throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tatum looks to score with a jab to the body but PrudHomme is just out of range.
Tatum explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Tatum throws out a leg kick but PrudHomme moves out of range and Tatum only half commits.
PrudHomme drops his hands momentarily and Tatum takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fight stays on the outside here - PrudHomme looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tatum escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tatum throws the kick towards the body but PrudHomme avoids it.
PrudHomme closes the distance and clinches up with Tatum, looking for a takedown. PrudHomme pushes Tatum against the cage but Tatum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Drederick Tatum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for PrudHomme. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drederick Tatum showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Tatum lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tatum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but PrudHomme manages to avoid it.
PrudHomme shoots in looking for a takedown. Tatum tries to sprawl out of it but PrudHomme keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tatum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tatum bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tatum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tatum has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tatum uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before PrudHomme has time to react.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
