Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eulogy Spoakin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Caerdinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spoakin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Scarface ft Devin The Dude - Hand Of The Dead Body. Caerdinn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dr. Feelgood. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Caerdinn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Spoakin - the referee stops the clock and Caerdinn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Spoakin. Caerdinn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Eulogy Spoakin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caerdinn avoids the head kick by Spoakin.
Caerdinn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Spoakin has Caerdinn pulled in close to control his posture.
Caerdinn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caerdinn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spoakin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Caerdinn is fighting to break Spoakin's control of his arms but Spoakin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eulogy Spoakin.
Spoakin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Caerdinn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Spoakin tries to land a leg kick but Caerdinn saw it coming and moves away.
Spoakin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Caerdinn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Spoakin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Caerdinn, as that shot connected.
Caerdinn throws a low kick but Spoakin avoids it.
Spoakin is looking to land body kicks.
Spoakin throws a jab but it's blocked by Caerdinn.
Spoakin throws an off balance right hand
and Caerdinn counters with a low kick, right behind Spoakin 's knee.
Caerdinn misses with a body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Spoakin as Caerdinn shoots in.
Caerdinn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Spoakin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Caerdinn avoids the body shot from Spoakin.
Spoakin throws a body punch but Caerdinn moves out of range.
Spoakin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Spoakin scores with the left hand. Caerdinn knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Brent Caerdinn has been cut.
Caerdinn looks to score with a jab to the body but Spoakin is just out of range.
Spoakin misses with a wild combination.
Spoakin swings away with a body shot that misses
and Caerdinn counters with a left and a right that stings Spoakin.
Caerdinn moves out of range of the leg kick from Spoakin.
Caerdinn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spoakin pinned against the cage. Spoakin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spoakin misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Spoakin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Spoakin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Spoakin misses with a left hand
and Caerdinn counters with a straight right hand.
Spoakin misses with a kick to the body.
Spoakin misses with a double jab
letting Caerdinn counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Caerdinn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Spoakin throws out the jab.
Spoakin connects with a leg kick. Caerdinn looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Caerdinn just misses with a punch to the body.
Caerdinn lands with a shot to the body.
Spoakin tries to bum rush Caerdinn with a series of wild strikes but Caerdinn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spoakin throws a lazy right hand but Caerdinn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Spoakin enables Caerdinn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Spoakin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Spoakin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Spoakin avoids the attempt from Caerdinn to control.
Caerdinn is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Caerdinn is bucking up trying to escape but Spoakin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
