Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Boardwalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Petrified (Gracie Remix). Christopher Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Gracie! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonnie Boardwalk! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boardwalk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boardwalk was well out of range. Poor timing from Gracie. Gracie connects with a single shot there. Boardwalk shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Boardwalk wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Boardwalk sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boardwalk manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boardwalk keeps working. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but Boardwalk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boardwalk on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boardwalk wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie throwing strikes here but Boardwalk is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Boardwalk wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Boardwalk is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Boardwalk tries to hold on but Gracie postures up. Gracie with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Boardwalk has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Boardwalk!

Boardwalk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boardwalk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Boardwalk trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A head kick misses from Gracie. Gracie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Boardwalk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gracie avoids it really well and circles away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boardwalk tries for a takedown but Gracie circles away easily and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Christopher Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonnie Boardwalk. Gracie misses with an uppercut. Boardwalk saw that one coming. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Gracie dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Boardwalk throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily. Boardwalk fails with a takedown attempt. Gracie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Boardwalk gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Gracie lands an overhand right.
Boardwalk is rocked! Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Boardwalk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Boardwalk is just out of range. Boardwalk misses with a hook
and Gracie counters with a lovely straight right hand! Boardwalk is still on wobbly legs! Can Gracie finish him? Gracie slaps away a takedown attempt from Boardwalk, before circling back to the center of the mat. Boardwalk fails with a takedown attempt. Christopher Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonnie Boardwalk. Gracie connects with the punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boardwalk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gracie is fending him off so far but Boardwalk persists. Nope, Gracie circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Gracie scores with a sloppy right hand. Boardwalk should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Boardwalk! Gracie dives in looking to finish! Boardwalk is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christopher Gracie! Christopher Gracie retains his bantamweight title!
