Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Ellenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellenberger comes into the arena with Guano Apes - Open Your Eyes blaring out of the sound system. Martinez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Click Click Boom. Diego Martinez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellenberger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Martinez wants to stand up but Ellenberger is controlling him.
Ellenberger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ellenberger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Ellenberger pushing down on Martinez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ellenberger connects with a nice short shot to Martinez's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martinez is in a horrible position here. Ellenberger smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ellenberger has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Martinez's face.
Ellenberger unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Martinez wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Ellenberger celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
