Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Beardstorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Piston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Piston!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piston swings for the body but Beardstorm moves out of range.
Beardstorm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Piston manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Beardstorm avoids the head kick by Piston.
Piston misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Beardstorm or perhaps it was just good defense by Piston which made him look bad.
Piston avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Piston feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Beardstorm's calf.

Beardstorm closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Piston did well to prevent Beardstorm getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Beardstorm not doing much here.
Beardstorm's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Piston is trying to stand up here but Beardstorm is controlling him well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Shinji Beardstorm.
Piston misses with a head kick.
Piston moves out of range as Beardstorm throws a body kick.
Beardstorm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Beardstorm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Beardstorm pushes Piston up against the cage in a clinch.
Beardstorm wants to break free but Piston has control.
Piston lands a good knee to the midsection. Beardstorm won't want to take too many of those.
Beardstorm is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Piston gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Piston is working for takedown but Beardstorm is calmly controlling the position for now.

Piston breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Piston drops Beardstorm with a beautiful combination! Beardstorm stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Piston is looking for the KO!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piston throws a nice looking combination but Beardstorm bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Beardstorm misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Oooooh!!! Piston has knocked Beardstorm down with a huge combo! Piston steps away and waves a wobbly Beardstorm back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Beardstorm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Beardstorm misses with a takedown attempt - Piston sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinji Beardstorm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Piston moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Piston cracks Beardstorm with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Beardstorm looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Piston finish him?
Piston catches Beardstorm with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Beardstorm forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
