The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannery showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Young.
Young moves out of range as Flannery strikes.
Young shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Young looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Young sizes up Flannery with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Young tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flannery paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Young throws a body punch but Flannery moves out of range.
Young closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Young counters with a straight right hand.
Flannery scores with a hook to the body. Young takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Flannery digs a good hook to Young's body.

Young wants to clinch up but Flannery keeps it at a distance.

and Young counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Young counters with a thumping low kick.

Flannery should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Young counters with a stiff right hand.
Young scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flannery doesn't seem bothered though.

and Young counters with a nice body shot.

and Young counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Flannery can't break the clinch.
Young drops down looking for an ankle pick but Flannery pulls his leg out and moves away.
Young takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Young throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flannery's waist but Flannery gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Young off to one side.
Young smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Flannery is rocked!

Young fails with an attempt to clinch.
Flannery is still on wobbly legs! Can Young finish him?
Young is looking to slow Flannery down with leg kicks.
Flannery seems to have recovered his senses.
