Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Polly Cracker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raesa WR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). WR has chosen Armin Van Buuren - Yet Another Day as his entrance music. The key to victory for Polly Cracker has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Polly Cracker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raesa WR! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cracker throws a head kick that misses. Cracker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by WR. Cracker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cracker lands with a slapping head kick. Cracker throws a sloppy head kick and WR moves out of range easily. WR darts in and clinches Cracker up against the cage. Cracker creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through WR's defenses. Cracker gets underhooks to prevent WR's takedown attempt.
WR tries to pull guard but Cracker won't allow it.
Cracker blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cracker breaks the clinch.
Cracker misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. WR shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cracker sprawls well. Cracker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. WR gets slowly back to his feet. Polly Cracker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raesa WR. WR closes the distance and clinches up with Cracker, looking for a takedown. WR pushes Cracker against the cage but Cracker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cracker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cracker tries a head kick but it misses.
Cracker connects with a leg kick. WR looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from WR. Cracker misses with a head kick.

WR shoots in but Cracker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cracker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cracker plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! WR drives through with a takedown into Cracker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. WR landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. WR looking to sit in guard and control but Cracker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if WR can do anything to dispel that myth. Cracker trying to control the position from guard on top but WR is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now WR is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. WR in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. WR slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cracker is trying to keep WR in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as WR accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. WR trying to control but Cracker is working from the bottom. WR postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cracker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. WR throws a strike but Cracker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Cracker is breathing heavily. WR has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cracker has passed into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Raesa WR will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
WR misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. WR takes a kick to the side of the head. WR is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cracker tries a head kick but it misses.
Cracker throws a sloppy head kick and WR moves out of range easily. Cracker scores with a head kick. WR tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Cracker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. WR fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cracker, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cracker is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. WR jumps into guard, dragging Cracker to the mat.
Cracker trying to control but WR is working from the bottom. WR is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cracker is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Polly Cracker. Cracker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. WR closes the distance and clinches up with Cracker, looking for a takedown. WR pushes Cracker against the cage but Cracker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cracker tries to land a front kick but WR steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. WR shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cracker is trying to defend but WR finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. WR not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. WR is trying to control the action in half guard but Cracker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. WR works his way into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. WR connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
WR throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. WR looking to ground and pound but Cracker is blocking nicely. WR throwing strikes but Cracker uses the opportunity to regain half guard. WR slips a nice elbow through Cracker's hands, connecting with Cracker's forehead. WR wants to pass to mount but Cracker is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. WR lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. WR with the ground and pound but Cracker uses the opportunity to regain guard. WR postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! WR lands a couple of elbows. Raesa WR has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. WR throws a big right hand that misses. WR must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cracker keeping moving, preventing WR from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raesa WR showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Polly Cracker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raesa WR. WR goes for a takedown attempt but Cracker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A telegraphed right hand from WR misses the target. Polly Cracker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cracker slips a jab and a cross from WR.
WR takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Cracker gets a clinch. Cracker gets underhooks to prevent WR's takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. WR tries to score a body lock takedown but Cracker shows good agility there to stay on his feet. WR takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. WR prevents Cracker from breaking the clinch. Cracker with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Cracker tries to stall but WR uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Cracker jumps guard but WR stands there with Cracker around his waist. Cracker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cracker gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. WR is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cracker pulls him back up using the underhooks. Cracker lands an elbow that stopped WR in his tracks for a moment. Cracker lands a nice elbow from the clinch. WR is looking to break free of the clinch but Cracker has double underhooks. Cracker lands an elbow that stopped WR in his tracks for a moment. Cracker prevents WR from breaking the clinch. WR wants to break free but Cracker has control.
Come on Cracker - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. WR takes an elbow to the temple. WR turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and WR manages to end up in side control. Cracker parries the strikes from WR easily there. WR is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cracker to escape.
Cracker is trying to improve his position. Cracker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Polly Cracker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Raesa WR is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. WR missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Polly Cracker. I think WR has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
