Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dhyonson Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cenora Salvadori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira fails with a takedown attempt.
Oliveira misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown by Salvadori or perhaps it was just good defense by Oliveira which made him look bad.
Salvadori is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Oliveira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvadori avoids it really well and circles away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Oliveira. Salvadori does a little dance to reset his feet.

Salvadori has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Oliveira uses from the top position.

Let's hope that Salvadori has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Salvadori shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oliveira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Salvadori is nestled in close to Oliveira, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Oliveira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salvadori on the ground.

Salvadori is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Oliveira sees it coming and defends easily.

Salvadori changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oliveira tries to avoid it but Salvadori manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oliveira to the ground. Oliveira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oliveira stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oliveira wants it to stay on the feet.

I really don't envy Oliveira right now.
Salvadori just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Salvadori is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Salvadori gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Salvadori gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Salvadori apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Salvadori shoots in looking for a takedown but Oliveira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvadori's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cenora Salvadori showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Salvadori closes the distance and clinches up with Oliveira, looking for a takedown. Salvadori pushes Oliveira against the cage but Oliveira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oliveira shoots in and drives through. Salvadori sprawls well.
Oliveira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salvadori was well out of range. Poor timing from Oliveira.

Cenora Salvadori is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Cenora Salvadori comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Salvadori has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
